I think I need a bigger boat...

So the one bag rule for my field school means that I have to cram everything in the small blue duffel,

into the big blue duffel after I land in Rwanda.

It's mostly not my fault, gear is tremendously bulky, seriously. Anyway we'll see how that goes. Moving on to more exciting things, I fly out tomorrow! It's been 5 years since I've flown and now I get to fly internationally, so excited doesn't quite cut it. This time Saturday night, I'll be asleep in Rwanda. Pinch me now!

Peace,

Amanda

Getting ready for some serious monkey business...

So I'm counting down the hours until I leave for my first primate adventure in Rwanda for four weeks! To be exact, I leave in 3 days 18 hours and 16 minutes. Needless to say the packing frenzy has commenced and I have a myriad of to do lists that are slowly shrinking. I'm experiencing Christmas in the summer, because getting to monkey around for a month following primates is like the best Christmas present imaginable! Except it's not December, but semantics.

Well this primate is off to be productive. I'll be back with scary field school packing photos!

Peace,

Amanda
